Advertising Disclosures

All Publishers must at all times clearly and conspicuously disclose to consumers that the content to which they are linked through the Revcontent widget is:

 a) third-party content from the web, not the publisher’s own editorial content
 b) that the third party has paid to have its content placed there.

What happens if I violate this policy as a publisher?

  • Widget Removal: Articles that don't follow this policy may have their widgets disabled. A disabled widget won't be able to run until the policy violation is fixed.
  • Domain disabling: We may suspend websites that violate this policy, meaning that the website can no longer be monetized with Revcontent until the problem is fixed.
  • Account termination: An account may get suspended if you have several violations or a serious violation. If this happens, all widgets in the terminated account will stop running, and we will no longer accept traffic from you. Any related accounts may also get terminated and your new accounts may get automatically denied at setup.
