RevContent uses advanced Invalid Traffic (IVT) filters to protect the integrity of your email monetization efforts. These filters automatically identify and block traffic that appears to be bot-generated, fraudulent, or non-human to ensure only genuine user interactions are counted.
What’s Filtered
User Agent Filtering
We detect and filter automated traffic such as search engines, spiders, and link validators based on their User Agent.
IP Filtering
We keep a record of IPs that are known datacenter or hosting provider IPs such as Amazon, Azure, Google Cloud, as well as residential IPs that are exploited by bot and spam networks.
Duplicate Click Hash
We monitor user-specific signals like the clickhash to determine if clicks with the same widgetID, user IP, user agent, etc are occurring multiple times and indicate artificial behavior.
Click to Impression Duration
We automatically disregard clicks that occur too quickly after an impression, as they are typically generated by automated systems rather than real users.
