A guide to generating UUIDs with MailerLite

MailerLite offers variables which dynamically pull in campaign and contact data. By using combinations of these tags we can generate and pass unique identifiers (UUIDs) into the "key" parameters without the need for any javascript. For example:

{$email} pulls in your subscriber's email
{$campaign_date} pulls in the current date in a “yyyy-mm-dd” format

By combining these variables, we can successfully create dynamic UUIDs and our "key" parameter values would therefore look something like this:

<a href="https://revmail.revcontent.com/click/?id=1234&key={$email}{$campaign_date}...
<img src="https://revmail.revcontent.com/?id=1234&key={$email}{$campaign_date}...

NOTE: the same tags should be passed into the "key" parameter values of both the click and image URLs just like we've done above.
